― Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
"Before I joined the Start Here I felt lost and hopeless. Under Trinity’s guidance, I have developed new practices, which have supported my productivity and my creative wellbeing.
I highly recommend the community for anyone looking to reinvigorate or develop their writing practice and increase their creative output in a friendly and supportive environment."
Are you tired of just surviving as a writer, and want to thrive? If so, you’re in the right place. Start Here: A Beginner’s Writing Community is an online community that provides aspiring writers with the support they need to perfect their craft and grow as artists.
How? By providing expert guidance and support from author and mentor Trinity Doyle while interacting with other writers in the community. You’ll be inspired by stories of success and learn from the challenges faced by other writers. You will receive feedback on your work from a published author, who can help you improve the quality of what you’re writing. You’ll learn how to build a writing routine and stick with it. You’ll receive support, encouragement and feedback from other writers who are just starting out on their journey as well as those who have been published by traditional publishers or self-published.
If you’re looking for a place to get support and encouragement as you create your first publication, or if you are an established writer who wants to keep growing professionally and personally, Start Here will serve as an amazing resource.

"Trinity’s way of deeply understanding the process of the author and experience of the reader has been so helpful to me in the development of my manuscript.
I’ve learned so much from Trinity and my manuscript is better for it."
No, we offer support for all kinds of writing. Some of our members are writing newsletters, memoirs, fanfiction, graphic novels...Just to name a few!
While we are primarily geared towards beginning writers we welcome writers at all stages who feel they could benefit from a supportive writing space.
